Microblogging is now popular. However, I find that many microblogging site won’t allow you to write more than 140 characters. This limits me to say more at once. So, I am starting this Tumbler blog, as a blog that is a bit bigger than microblogs.

This is not the only reason I chose Tumblr. Some of the other reasons are:

  • The design is sleek and eliminates the complex look.
  • It lacks many features (not crutial) than other blogs. That’s why people like the simplicity.
  • The templates are highly customizable and plugins can be added.
  • The template for Tumblr is very much search engine friendly.
  • Highly customizable for SEO.

If you think that Tumblr is not SEO or Search Engine Friendly, then you have not explored Tumblr well. I was able to optimize the template the way I wanted it to be. But, this was a bit tricky in WordPress. Simplicity and the visibility power makes Tumblr a cool choice.

I have plans to use this blog as a list of my ideas. You are free to share them, since I have them in public. But, please be sociable to drop me some line.
